The Accidental Beach appeared in Edmonton during the summer of 2017. The construction of the new line of the LRT disrupted the flow of the North Saskatchewan River right in the centre of Edmonton. This was enjoyed by thousands this past summer. Whether it will remain when construction is complete is still very much in debate. For now Edmontonians are enjoying their "Accidental Beach"
